Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I didn't hesitate to purchase this item when I saw the reviews. When purchasing on Amazon that's the first thing I look for. Usually, it never lets me down. Except..WOW. I can't believe 10K reviews, almost five stars and how horrible this mask is. I camp a lot. And I like it pitch dark. So when the moon is out it's hard for me to fall asleep. I also like to fall asleep listening to the TV so I use a mask for that. I purchased one a few weeks ago. It's awesome but the strap is really wide and hurts your ears. It falls down on top of your ears, rubs, and causes pain while sleeping. With all the reviews I tried this one. The strap was great one this one. Just how it should be. But it's right over your eyes. When putting it on it hurts your eyes. It presses right up against your eyes. There is no contour like on the other ones I own. You can't open your eyes. If I lose the strap any less to stop the pressure against my eyes then light comes in. You either have your eyes hurt or you let light in. When I went to return the item it showed it was non-returnable. I was able to return another eye mask that I tried this week, It shows NOWHERE on the page you can't return it. It's a Prime product. I called Amazon and they immediately refunded my money (THANK YOU AMAZON). They told me to just throw it away. They did verify that the manufacturer placed it as non-returnable and did not place it in their product description. They sent a complaint to the manufacturer as that's against Amazon's policy according to the rep. ALL that said. Pay a few extra dollars and get a contour 3D mask. Well worth the money and comfort. You're going to be wearing it for hours each day. Worth a few extra dollars!!!
