Do not buy!!! Lies!! Is the D550 with different stickers (only 125/150W). Do not buy!!!
Weller, come on now... the D650 says its rated 300W/200W on the stickers along with the correct part number. Tell me why im only pulling 150W @195 surge watts peak with 1.45A on 121VAC 60hz on high (first click) and only 125W @ 145 surge watts peak with 1.15A on low (second click)...?????!!!!!?? ITS NOT EVEN DRAWING THE LOW POWER RATING ON HIGH!!! If basing the numbers on peak draw than you still are lying about your product!! The unit was manufactured 25/19 according to the sticker, also has/ had weller genuine stickers on it as well as on the case, so if this is a clone or copy than itd be the quickest court case and easy money for Welller mfg.. Either way creating a newer more powerful product does not only involve putting different stickers on the thing because I also have a D550, and guess what? Same readings within 10ths, same resistance on the windings inside, same everything.. but coulda got the 550 for half the price..
