I got this headset to replace an LG HBS750 headset, which lost one channel after about a year. I had been very happy with it, and I figured that the HBS780 might be a nice upgrade. For listening to music, it seems fine. It's as good a sound quality as you could expect from ear buds, and after 20 years of working around jet engines, my hearing isn't all that great. Music sounds good enough to me. As a phone headset, it's a different story. My wife's comments follow the line of "What are you saying?" and "It sounds like you're at the bottom of a well", and "Please switch back to your phone", and "I can't understand you. We'll talk later." Definitely not what I want to hear, from the person I most want to talk to. So back it goes to Amazon!
