We purchased this water filter because our water is very hard and leaves stains in the toilet, shower, sinks etc. This unit was recommended to us. I liked the fact it was small so would not take up as much room as a free standing unit. We have had this for over 6 months. I have seen no difference in the quality of our water. The toilet is still stained with hard water every week. I still have to scrub it off with a pumice stone weekly. We spent several hundred dollars for a plumber to install the system. I actually had to ask my husband if he turned it on, and then went to check myself to make sure it was turned on. I am very disappointed and I would not recommend it to anyone.
