Design of coffee maker not user-friendly! Cons: 1. The top lid of the coffee maker opens "on the side," not front to back which makes it NOT user-friendly! Plus, you can only use the coffee maker one way or store it one way on counter due to faulty top lid design. 2. Only able to view water level from one-side which makes it usable from only one side, again. 3. If left-handed, I do not recommend due to "right-handedness" design (I'm not left-handed; however, wanted to alert those who might be). 4. Water spout placement not conducive to placing filter basket in coffee maker; plus, not easy to clean under water spout once coffee is complete. 5. Due to faulty water spout design, coffee "splashes" all over top of coffee carafe lid instead of "IN" the pot of coffee. Sorry had to write a bad review on a "Mr. Coffee" product; however, this coffee maker has too many "faulty" designs to recommend. I do NOT recommend this coffee maker! We've been using Mr. Coffee coffee makers for over 40 years; and this is NOT the A+ design or craftsmanship that Mr. Coffee was known for so many years ago...sooo, sad!
