This pillow grew black mold that was visible on outside material and also dark discoloration on inside of the pillow that is I am sure also mold but I am not ripping it apart for fear of greater exposure to mold spores. Sadly that was the pillow my son was using and he being a teenager did know any better until his allergy symptoms got so bad. We now know why, and the pillow has been removed from his room. I contacted customer service today and will update with their response, as I am very curious to see what they will say about this health hazard!
