I will lead with the positives: The included lumbar support is fantastic, and just having it made a world of difference. Unfortunately, that sums up all of the positives. The actual seat cushion is very, very soft, to the point of providing virtually no actual support after a mere five or six seconds of sitting on it: It's flat as a pancake! Without exaggeration, I can say the decorative poly-stuffed throw pillow I used beforehand provides easily four times the support without going flat. After about five minutes of sitting on it, counter intuitively, the now-hardened-compressed part in the back designed to prevent tail bone pressure started to make my tail bone actually hurt! That's right, this product actually CAUSES pain! In addition to being far too soft and unsupportive, it's rather small: It is about two inches shy of covering the entire seat of my office chair in two directions, which means if I position it where my rear would naturally sit, my upper legs still rest against the chair's edge, where its own cushion long ago gave way and therefore doing nothing to alleviate pressure (and for the record, my chair is a standard size, nothing 'extra huge' or anything). This product is simply small and flimsy. I highly recommend looking elsewhere, as this is a uselessly soft product. Since I don't intend to return this, you know, since my bum's been on it, I plan to let my little 15lb dog sleep on it: Assuming he's light enough it won't go flat!
