The treadmill arrived damaged. The right side rail was ripped and right side of running deck damaged. Front motor cover and left rail was cracked and moved. I did not finish unpacking and called Johnson Health Tech Customer Care and asked to replace the unit that came damaged and it is still in the box. It did not come to my mind that it would be the issue. I was told that they cannot replace treadmill and they suggested that I should unpack everything and do “troubleshooting” and let them know what needs to be replaced. Very interesting; I am wondering whether the same representative would ever buy something broken and agrees to have it repaired paying for new item. Actually I talked to a few representatives and they gave me a different story and finally I was told that they would be happy to take it back if I agree to pay $125 for shipping. This is the first time I was forced to pay for new and have it refurbished. The company return policy clearly says that they will pay for shipping if the equipment came damaged. After that experience I do not want to deal with them anymore. I just want them to take the junk back from my garage. In case someone reads my review – I have a case opened with them #607274.
