I am EXTREMELY upset! I purchased this monitor in mid-July. I’ve been using it ever since without a second thought after setup. Today, while typing a document (and not touching the screen at all, and without having adjusted or touched the screen recently) the screen tipped forward and separated from the stand as the plastic apparatus that connected the screen and stand failed! It was spontaneous, and I was lucky to catch the monitor as it fell but not before it dealt (and took) some damage to my speakers and keyboard! There’s not much to be said except that LG made very POOR design choices and can not design a monitor stand to hold the weight of the monitor!!! That, and possible manufacturing errors!! This could have caused injury and even more damage. I have a lot of work to do and now I have to come up with a new way to use my computer while I figure out a new monitor for it. I am extremely disappointed to have received such a faulty product from what I thought was a reputable, luxury electronics Brand like LG. This is completely unacceptable.
