Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I had high hopes for this cookbook, but it falls disastrously short. My expectations weren't Food Network high, but rather "somebody please just tell me what to do", and this book couldn't even do that. I'm really not sure how this is actually information which can be sold as it is literally straight from the internet, but I didn't know that until I received it. So, constructive criticism: the book is too simple. I don't feel like the author knows anything more about cooking than what the side of the box tells her. That's at least better than me, but not "author" or "cook" worthy. I wanted something unique, not less than average. Second, I don't like the wording in the book. I'm not sure if the author wrote it or someone at the publisher, but I want something that speaks from a position of authority and not my neighbor yelling a recipe as she loads up her minivan on the way to soccer. Thanks but no thanks. Anyway, just my two cents. Maybe it helps someone decide to purchase or not.
