Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I should have read the reviews more closely, but I tend to look for Amazon Choice items because they are generally great items with stellar reviews. Not this one. On the highest setting, the mitts were cold. When you put your hands in them, within seconds you can tell they aren't working. When I took my hands out, my hands were cold to the touch. I would have better luck just folding over my heating pad and placing a hand between it. I think the most disappointing thing is that when I tried to return it, I was instructed to go to the Conair website to figure out what was wrong with them. The link takes you to the homepage of the website, not customer services, or repairs, etc. PLUS this item is sold BY Amazon Services. They should be responsible for returns, especially defective devices that they promote. I have contacted customer service at Amazon because it is ridiculous for them to sell the item, promote it as preferred choice, but not allow you to return it. I am waiting to hear back from them. I'm sorry I did not read more of the reviews, but I hope someone wanting to purchase this item will read this review and chose a different item.
