Very dissapointed after receiving this considering all the good reviews. First, the goose neck is so weak that it will not properly hold the lamp head where you place it. Set the lamp head in a position, let go and it droops down 5-8 inches due to the weight of the lamp head. Even letting go very slowly it still droops some because the gooseneck is not strong enough. Secondly the advertisement states "Litespan remembers your choice the next time it powers up!" It does NOT. Perhaps I got a lemon but this lamp does not remember the last color temperature position or light intensity. I prefer the warm white and a lower light level. I set it in that position, left the room for a minute and then switched off the light. Turned it back on and it went to the 6000K setting at full intensity. Repeated this test several times. Each time it is turned off and on it starts at 6000K at full intensity and you have to toggle through to get to 4500K or 3000K, plus you then have to reset the light level.
