Modem arrived in perfect condition - case, cables, connections, and lights all seemed factory new. However, I was unable to activate my internet service via Comcast. They said the modem belonged to another account, and were unable to activate my device so I could start using my new internet service. Comcast recommended I contact the seller or the original owner, and ask that they manually cancel the previous activation. To be fair, this is not a problem with the device itself and from outward appearances the modem looked brand new. Just a word of caution for anyone looking to acquire a cheap modem.
