If you are like me, you'll read this and dismiss it because the pool looks so relaxing and easy and it has good reviews too. You'll get it and spend much longer than you intended setting it up. The ground you thought was level may not be as level as you thought. Gotta fix that. When it is all set up after several hours, you'll feel excited and self congratulatory. It's deeper than you thought and looks so inviting. Water fresh from the hose is freezing cold though, so it is a good idea to wait a day or so for the sun to warm it up. Life happens and 48 hours go buy. At this point the pool has less than half the amount of water in it than it started with. It is all droopy and folded in on itself. There is a patch kit, but no hole can be located. It is a slow enough leak that it is impossible to find, but fast enough that the pool will not remain full enough to be enjoyed. You realize this thing is going to be a huge hassle all summer long and never as warm as you want because you have to keep putting freezing cold hose water in it to keep it filled. Maybe you will leave a negative review that you are sure no one will listen to because they will see the reviews of the lucky people that didn't get faulty merchandise and convince themselves that they too will get a good one. The hassle isn't worth the risk. Now I'm left in a quandary. Do I drag it to the curb as trash or go through the trouble of boxing it back up after fully draining it and send it back in for a refund? I'm taking my refund and replacing this waste of time and money with another pool choice that hopefully functions better.
