A massive amount of citric acid added
If anyone's wondering what all the one-star reviews are about, I can explain all of them in two words: Citric Acid. And a TON of it. Citric acid is very common in many drinks - helps preserve freshness and taste. But Nature's Way (I company whose products I usually love) decided to add (possibly by mistake, not sure) an insane amount of citric acid. The result is: if you put it on your skin, it will burn. If you drink it and have any sort of stomach issues, it will make the issues much worse (excluding low stomach acid, if you have low stomach acid then drinking something acidic like this Nature's Way aloe may help.) The saddest part is, aloe is often used for stomach ulcers. I bought this for stomach ulcers. Drinking this aloe is HORRID for ulcers since it's extremely acidic. Pick any other aloe drink but this one. Aloe doesn't even taste bad, it's basically tasteless. Why add so much citric acid?!?
