At first, we were very happy with the firm placement, structure and apparent strength until one leg gave way today. The problem is in the material weakness. The flat platform on one leg at the foot of one corner of the bed cracked and collapsed. Our bed frame leg corners are rounded caster wheels which seat comfortably on these risers very well. However they are not strong enough to support 2 people and a cat without collapsing. I weigh 205 lbs my wife won't tell me what she weighs but I would guess 135-140, (god bless she never reads this) and the cat was on the bed weighing maybe 7lbs. We put our bed up on these things so that we could store stuff underneath. Luckily nothing valuable got nailed but seriously...and we had some pretty unreplaceble art stored under the bed. Basically, do not bother, they are not up to snuff. It's a time bomb.. See photos on how to fix em once they bust. Best, Peter.
