I bought directly through Motiv, but felt like leaving a review here would be more likely to help contribute. I loved my Motiv ring when it worked, but sadly, it didn't for more than 2 months. I'm very careful with my hands (pianist) so abuse wasn't an issue. The problems included: quit charging, full charge wouldn't last more than a day, quit acquiring data (wouldn't read hear-rate), and last one simply died completely, though it would sync when put on the charger but it never gained nor lost any estimated battery life (stayed at 84% for 3-4 days no matter on charger or not). They were very responsive and quickly shipped replacement rings, but after the 4th, I asked for a refund. They are willing to do a "warranty exception" after deducting $25 from my purchase price. I'll ship the ring back tomorrow and see if they follow through. Sleep tracking is somewhat off, but everything is (except maybe the $1k equipment), and it seemed very accurate with pulse readings. Durability just isn't ready for prime-time.
