I bought this Plastic and metal box because of the high reviews. Either the reviewers got a different safe than I did, or they have never seen or familiar with a real safe. Yes, it's heavy. A have metal safe with a plastic dial and locking mechanism. The door, sides, top and bottom are thick and heavy metal. The back is not much more than a thick piece of roofing tin. I am so disappointed that I could puke. Spent 320 dollars for a joke. I can't believe that they would build something called a safe like this, plastic locking, thin piece of sheet metal on the back. Try to understand this; build a very fine heavy precision Mercedes Benz and put a chain saw motor in it. With the locking mechanism a thin back, same principle. I AM telling you the HONEST PURE TRUTH. I think enough of you ( the reader ) to keep you from making this mistake. I am not going through the hassle with this seller to return it. ( seller feedback indicates that this seller doesn't do well with returns ). I will chalk this up with an expensive learning experience. Please understand that, I don' like bad reviews.
