I am a big fan of the original wallet slayer phone case and have had 3 of them in the past. I was intrigued by the new design, change in material, and the capability to use a credit card as a phone prop. Unfortunately, it is not an improvement to the original design and actually a downgrade in several regards. 1) the pocket cannot hold as much as the original despite being claimed to do so 2) the leather material on the back bulges our further than the original so it is not as sleek and slim as the original 3) with the the grooves to allow you to prop up the phone, the grooves made it more difficult to push out the cards in the wallet. I mostly used the top card and the bottom card in my stack of 3 cards on my old case. Now I can only push out the top card and need to push the rest out one by one at the top in order to access them all. It's not an improvement. 4) The build quality is the isn't too great either since string in the leather stitching is already fraying. 5) the cards aren't concealed as much at the old design so it is obvious that you have credit cards on the back of your phone and they stick further out so I suspect they are more likely to get caught on something or eve just get dirty from the constant expose to the surface of a table if you are the kind to rest your phone backside on the table. Hope this helps potential consumers and maybe silk can address some of these concerns since I like the brand and new materials are always exciting.
