I bought this so called performance chip and yes it worked for around a month or so I noticed a great deal of improvements in my truck then my truck became very slugish and I became vey worried that something was wrong with my truck so I unplugged the chip ran my truck for a couple of weeks without it and the truck cane back to life. I did some more research on these such chips and they are nothing more then a resistor that you can buy at radio shack for a couple of dollar's that basically fools the mass flow into thinking that it was putting more air threw the system. So I did an experiment and reinstalled the chip and it performed very well yet again for around a month or so then the same experiences happened yet again. It is false advertising this unit does not have installed dyno tunes in it out does not change you MPG AT ALL and it does not increase power or performance for like I said more then a few wks to a month. The computer in your vehicle will take back over and the chip will stop doing what they say it is suppose to do. To me it is a total waste of money unless you are looking for something that could benefit you for a short period of time like a one night race. I hope this will benefit whom ever is going to try and really get what they think they are paying for do yout research first I was fooled and I hope none of y'all do the same. Amazon should take this product off completely! I only gave one star because it made me rate it but I give it negative stars
