Vacuum is well balanced and gets around obstacles well with pivoting head. Cleans out pet hair easily, it filled up the dirt cup within one room as the light showed so much more than I had seen before. However, the reason for my low rating is it was unclear when I purchased this unit that the battery was unable to be replaced by the enduser. In my experience with lithium batters as a contractor is they all fail sooner or later. Two out of three of my craftsman 19.2 volt lithium batteries died within 1.5 years. When I enquired with support they said I could neither buy or service the internal battery myself. This sets up your $ 300 dollar vacuum as a throwaway if it lasts over two years. Despite performing well in my one week of use I would not recommend any product you cannot replace the battery yourself, let alone buy as a second backup for when you have extended vacuuming duties.
