I probably should have been suspicious after looking at all the pictures with happy dads and their kids on the homepage of this company. And if I would have payed attention, I would have seen that the carrier goes across the chest in a spot that is bound to be uncomfortable for women. And so it is, I have to close this thing directly over my breasts which makes it quite uncomfortable. I assume that for women with a bigger bust (or even worse, nursing moms!) this would be even more of a problem, so be aware of this. Also, I find the saddle hurts my neck, and I cannot tighten the connection straps so much that it does not slip backwards when my daughter is sitting on it. That makes it feel very unsafe for me. Last but not least, my daughter is not happy with the cuffs around her legs. She gets panicky when I close them. I am hoping that she will get used to this with time, though. In conclusion, I will be trying to use this without the saddle. I got this on zulily so it is not such a big waste of money as if I had bought it for the regular price but even for half the price I think there are better carrier options out there. Nice idea, bad execution.
