I received this product 9/2/2017. I am a full time biology student and wanted a backpack that could withstand the heavy textbooks if I decided to carry them--Which I often do not for the sake of my back! After reading several reviews, I decided on this. It was very aesthetically appealing. However, after having thenough backpack for about 6 months, the zipper seam has began to come undone. I am so disappointed in the fact that I spent $60 on what I thought would be a good quality backpack just to have it disfunction. I carry mainly (2) 5-subject Five star notebooks, a folder, calculator and a few writing utensils at a time---just to give you an idea of how heavy my backpack would be. Not too heavy! Occasionally, I would have to bring along a textbook in addition to those things but that did not happen often. I would rather carry one of these beasts of a book than have it on my back all day. All that to say, I am very surprised but the poor quality of this product. When initially contacting Group III International, who handles the claims for the backpacks, I was on hold for 17 minutes! I called back and someone answered immediately. Fortunately, the rep was helpful and sent a list of requirements to process my warranty -- Which comes with the product and is a limited 3-year. I have sent everything over to them and will update with their response to matter. Lastly, in my final picture, it is to show how the seam in another part of the bag seems to be on the verge of unraveling. So upsetting!
