I will give it Zero star if possible. The Natural Gas alarm have no use. I had this for months, I bought the combo version that includes this natural gas model. It works when I press the test button so it gives me peace of mind. Well I got home today and the whole house smells gas because my Mother in law this time operated the gas range the wrong way. She was not able to make the fire light up and at the same time did not close the the switch completely. I asked her what time she used the range, she said around 12:pm. Well we got home at 4:20pm and the house smells gas up to the second floor. The plug in alarm is right next to the range and did not even alarm to give warning to my Mother-In-Law that the gas was not shut off properly. I again tested the alarm this time by letting the gas from the range and put it right next to the gas source. The alarm did not even work after 5 minutes of test. I tried to change the position of the alarm by putting it face down to the gas source and this time it did work. Well this is a plug-in type which is installed on the wall. The design of this will never work as it only work when you have it face down to the source.
