Similar to how knock offs are common in colognes and perfumes. The item weighs just a few ounces. Hollow and fragile. Pulls hair, weak motor. My 19.99 wahl that i used for years had more oomph than this. This is the model that my barber uses on my head. I looked at hers and asked to hold hers and it is heavier than mine. Amazon should do a better job of assuring vendors are not tricking them into knockoff items.
