The cage itself is great, but expect to get the needle nose pliars to fix what the manufacturer messed up when assembling it. The bottom half assembled easily, but the top half was a nightmare, trying to figure out exactly what happened. No matter how much we would reposition, the entire thing, one side would not sit right in the slightest. The instructions were pretty much useless as well. After busting out the tape measure, I had noticed that one of the sides had been clamped in the place where the top large door was supposed to go and the door was hanging off to the side, as if whoever assembled this at the factory was in such a rush that they forgot how to brain that day. With crappy needle nose pliers in hand, I set to work to fix what should not have needed to be fixed and now we have a perfectly wonderful little cage for our two parakeet babies to flutter about and enjoy a few more toys. To break it in, we have put the instructions to use in the only way that seemed useful (picture included). UPDATE: In addition to the issues we had previously, now the seller wants me to remove this review and even offered to pay me $20 in compensation. I have had the cage put together and in use long enough that their late response to my product review is too little, too late. The cage itself is a great cage after I put it together and I would recommend it to someone who needs a cheap cage rather quickly, but I would STILL advise them that they may have some trouble putting it together. I have reported the contact with the seller to amazon.
