Not a holy grail, but a painful mistake
This completely ruined my skin. I have combination sensitive acne pron skin. Before using this cleanser, I had a few breakouts- usually a couple of hormonal spots around my period. I bought it thinking that it could help with those. I’ve read and seen a lot of reviews where people claimed this was a holy grail for them, so I was hopeful and went ahead and purchased it. I had seen a few negative reviews, but since there was such an overwhelming amount of positive ones, I hoped for the best. Well, it was a mistake. My skin is the worst it’s ever been. It’s red, hot, inflamed, and so so incredibly painful. It feels super tight, and I’ve started to get large clusters of breakouts that make it hard to move my face (smiling and eating hurts). I’ve been using this product consistently for the last two weeks, and it’s only been getting worse with time. I stopped using it and now have to put an ice pack and aloe to my face to help alleviate some of the discomfort. I really really wanted this product to work for me, but it definitely did not. Aside from that, it’s got a very harsh scent to it (almost like a multipurpose detergent) that took me a few uses to get used to. After washing my face, it definitely feels tight like others have mentioned, so if you do use this make sure to have a very good moisturize to follow up. I’ve never tried this before, so I don’t know if this is a fake product or if this is the original formula. I wish that this product was refundable, but it’s not. So beware that if you get it and it doesn’t work, you may be stuck with it.
