It caused a new 9AH 12v sealed gel battery to severely swell in 30 minutes. I'm glad I checked on it! The charger said the battery was at 88% when I first connected it. Upon checking it 30 minutes later, the charger's fan was running very high and it kept attempting to charge despite the battery having severely swollen. It smelled toxic in my garage. I have a feeling it was about to explode. I will return.
