This thing lasted two chops before the side came off and the spring came out. At the time I thought we paid 11 bucks for it so I wasn't too concerned. I took the spring out snapped the pieces back together and had adequate cutting ability. I thought to myself "you get what you pay for". But then I saw we paid 40 bucks for this cheap plastic toy. What the F peo;ple Oh and cleaning it, cuz it's dishwasher safe... it is because you have to put it thru the wash at least 3 times. They do give you a brush to knock out food that's embedded in the works. But what do you do with the brush? They didn't engineer this in the least as it was but you would think a little slot that after use you could put it in and it would go thru the 14 washing's required to clean this? Naah. Lets make it small so it will get lost and so you need 27 washing's to get this clean. Dont buy this if you like money and enjoy value in your purchases
