My first order (LOT #88185) was excellent. It was potent and tasted like crap(which is a good thing). I could feel its effects and I was highly impressed. My second order was not as pleasing. LOT #88186 tasted like olive oil. It's potency was clearly low, it was lighter in color, and if I take 3 times the dose I still feel no effects. I called Amazing Herbs and spoke with a customer service rep. I expressed my concerns for the inconsistency in their premium black seed oil and told her that I wasn't satisfied paying the same price for a less potent product and was not willing to reorder if I'm not guaranteed consistent quality and potency. I was told that certain seeds from various regions produce different results. She also said that some people like it strong tasting and some like it weak. Well, if that's the case... sell two different potencies so those of us who want the oil for the added health benefits can consistently get the product we want each time we order. She confirmed that the weaker taste and color does indicate lower thymoquinone levels but that it's still between .95% and 2.6% (as is written on the bottle). I'm sorry, I guess .95% just isn't going to cut it for me. I refuse to purchase this brand again until they begin to produce more consistent results. Be warned, if you order this... and it tastes mild... you've just spent top dollar on some BSO with LOW thymoquinone content.
