I don't know what to say about the other positive reviews here, this thing is junk. It feels cheap, the motors feel janky, and it just plain doesn't sharpen a pencil in a usable fashion. I tried a variety of pencils, and the motors you can feel moving and not sharpening evenly around the tip. Meaning all of my pencils had wood on one side all the way over the tip making them completely unusable. Every time. It's too light. You have to use two hand to sharpen and hold it in place because the torque of the motor will spin and move the device. It's a good thing it can use batteries, because the power plug is a horizontal USB plug. I measured it, with cord bend, it sticks out 3.5" from the wall. This is a desktop device and I can't plug it in behind my desk. Sorry to be so negative, but I'm returning this and thought it worthwhile to share the experience. The positive reviews convinced me to overlook the cheap price, but you do indeed get what you pay for.
