A series written by people who have no idea how things actually work in the real world with character names from a guy that was so specific about his research he wrote peer reviewed papers for military journals. I’ll keep it simple: Krasinski was an awful casting decision, making Admiral James Greer a lapsed Muslim, idiotic, his imam counselor a white guy (there’s not a lot of white, American imams) who sounds like the Catholic priest that Clancy would’ve written, Air Force grunts disobeying direct orders with ZERO repercussions, the Muslims are only bad because of bigotry and/or Israel (Israel fighting back against its attackers is the cause/motive for the villain), Jack Ryan has PTSD and needs a French female cop to coach him (at 30+) on how to talk to women... It’s just poorly written, poorly plotted PC trash.
