Beautiful looking fan and powerful too, but 37 days after it arrived (7 days beyond return period), it will no longer oscillate on middle speed (blades don't rotate, fan doesn't turn). How much longer will it oscillate on low and high speeds, who knows? It's a pity that we can't even make/sell a decent fan anymore, even one for $55-$60 discounted. Other customers also said they had issues with these fans breaking in a short period of time, but I took my chances because I wanted them to be good, in fact I bought two others as well. No problem with the other two yet, but I am no longer optimistic that these will last a long, long time. A follow up to my review….probably a day after I wrote the above, my fan stopped operating completely at the middle speed. Since I was past the 30-day return period for Amazon, I contacted Hunter Fans directly. The customer service rep told me that Hunter no longer warrants these fans. After some back and forth, he reluctantly opened a claim for me and asked me to forward proof of purchase which I did so immediately. Two weeks pass….nothing. I email him again and he asks for the manufacture date code on the bottom of the fan which I provide immediately. Two weeks pass…..nothing. I email him again and he tells me because of the code, I should call some 800 number which is the phone number of an entirely different company. Are you kidding me??? I bought three of these fans because they look good and they are Hunter's, which I thought was a quality manufacturer. Times change. I will never buy a Hunter product again.
