2.5 year old unit just failed earlier this week. Tech support voided the warranty on a technicality over the venting material when the venting wasn't what failed or caused the unit to fail. Would have been 5 stars because it worked fabulously for 2 years. Moving on the Rinnai and won't be back to Rheem. Sad when you buy a company's top of the line unit, it fails two years later and they find a way to wiggle out of the warranty.
