Decent size, and I like that it handles items up to 11" x 17". However, it does not get hot enough to fully laminate an item without running the item through at least twice. I have it on the 5mil setting (which I would think is hotter than 3mil), and have used the laminating pouches that came with the product, and some that I bought separately (from 2" x 3" all the way up to 11" x 17", and both 3mil and 5mil), and have had to run everything through more than once. In some cases, the edges weren't sealed, and in other cases, the edges were sealed but the area immediately surrounding the paper inside was not tightly sealed. A shame, because I've had mostly great experiences with AmazonBasics products until now.
