This fan with water reservoir is not real air conditioning as we think of AC.
Ever been to a music fair or public pavilion where there was a "mist enclosure" where water is atomized into mist spray combined with air from fans? Entering this area feels cooler to your skin. The water vapor causes faster evaporation of heat from your skin. This is how the Blaux and other fan units work and why they claim it is air conditioning- it isn't really air conditioning. The advertising is a play on words, somewhat unethical stretch of the truth. If you want true air conditioning obtain a small inexpensive window unit, place it in your window and plug it in.
