I've been waxing for more than a quarter of a century, so I know a thing or two about the process. First off, waxing is rarely ever painful for me, so that being said, I didn't find this product painful at all. As others have said, it's almost like plastic drying on you that you rip off. It's nice that there are no messy strips and the product, itself, I didn't find bad, so why would I say DO NOT BUY THIS? Well, the small cup didn't even cover the bottom of one of my legs! Now, I'm no basketball player. My inseam is only 32", so you would think I could get 1/4 of my leg surfaces done...nope. That's ok, the product hardens too quickly and I would have gotten a muscle strain if I had to do too much more. Second, as others have said, I have a 1200 watt oven that I have to be careful burns other foods. The directions for this stated is was for a 900 watt oven, but I had to heat it at 4 minutes (stirring every 1 minute), and reheat it two times. (YES! Reheat TWO TIMES for just the bottom of ONE leg!) It was a little messy, but not as messy as other products I've used. When considering that to cover two full legs would cost me around $40 bucks, I could lay back at a salon and have someone else rip the hair off of me while I meditate on my summer plans for just a little more. So save your microwave, your time, your money, and your sense of calm and skip this product. Too bad, as someone had a good idea, just poor execution.
