Stung again
So, I read the first chapters of this book on Amazon and the subject seemed interesting. Linda Howard used to be my all time favorite--"Duncan's Bride, Son of the Morning", and the great "Cry No More". The past few years her offerings have been so mediocre that I could not believe the same person was writing the books published under her name. This book is the same. It started out fine, but quickly fell into middle school writing. As for romance? What romance? The two main characters were the equivalent of dishwater. The book was more about what happens after a world disaster, which would not be so bad if the authors did not write in such an uninteresting manner. 5 star ratings? The publisher and the authors must have rounded up all their friends to give reviews. Friends, SAVE YOUR MONEY. There are better books out there. I have got to stop hoping for better from this author. It ain't gonna happen.
