I love the idea of having a robot vacuum, but this unit has a way to go. It has no brains whatsoever. It goes over the same place and misses other areas completely. I thought it would map my house, but it clearly has no clue where it has already been. Also, when I send it back its charger, it just wanders around aimlessly. I have to pick up and bring it back to its base, which couldn't be located in a more central, open place. I don't know if it's defective or not. I contacted the company and they suggested just letting it run and it will "eventually" move on. Perhaps, but the battery will die before it does.
