I am FURIOUS with this item. I went to a car set inspection service put on by the local hospital, and was told by a specialist that is in direct contact with the department that does FMVSS approvals and she said VERY CLEARLY that this is fraudulently marketed as FMVSS approved which is the ONLY way to ensure a car seat is safe for children. The symbol of approval is on the item, on the box and on the instruction papers, and yet this is NOT APPROVED!!! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! The specialist was as furious as I am by the false advertising of this product.
