I've used it twice as a wheelchair and it's DANGEROUS. My 81 year mother fell out it today and injured herself. The problem are the front wheels, when you use it as a wheelchair. ANY little rise on the pavement or flooring the front wheels will stop dead and the passenger is sent forward and falls. 1st time I used it, we hit the space on the floor as you enter an elevator, the front wheels hit that and my mom was able to catch herself and stop her fall. Today we hit a very small rise in the cement in a parking structure and she fell out of the wheelchair and was injured. It may be good as a walker, but not as a wheelchair. The front wheels have no give to them, to allow them to maneuver over small bumps or changes in the flooring, as a result, they stop hard and the passenger will fall. I'm returning it.
