Wanted to love this, and infact after installation we did - so much better than a swinging gate! Unfortunately after 1 day, the baby pressed against it and the mesh ripped against the fastening edge! After we attempted to "open" the gate and "close" it again to see how badly the rip would affect the use - the entire mesh gate ripped top to bottom. With the price we price point of this gate, we expected the product would handle a curious baby checking out the new gate. Disappointed.
