I just completed the installation on this unit. It opens and shuts the garage door. I guess its got that going for it...which is nice. That said, if you would like to integrate this opener into your smart home hub, there is an integration fee (subscription) that must be purchased. I was unaware that was the case when I purchased it, and I regret that I did. Shop around. I believe the good (greedy) folks at Chamberlain are the only ones doing this. So now that I installed it, I am stuck with it. That said, I will never, ever buy another Chamberlain product as I refuse to be nickle and dimed by my garage door opener.
