I purchased this KULUNER thermometer over a similar competitive brand since it was sold at a better price, yet had a very similar feature set, specification list, and warranty, Upon receiving the item it contained a small pamphlet stating the warranty could be increased to two years if you registered the purchase with KULUNER. The main product photo on Amazon clearly showed "LIFETIME WARRANTY"! Reading the final bullet point of the product's description stated a one year warranty. I complained to Amazon that the product listing was misleading. The listing has since been edited to show a three year warranty in the description, but "LIFETIME WARRANTY" is still boldly shown on the product's main photo. Even though they may finally stop deceiving new customers by eliminating the term "LIFETIME WARRANTY" from the main photo, everyone that has purchased this item to date will be denied when they try to have their KULUNER thermometer serviced in the future!
