These bar stools are beautiful but they are NOT STABLE TO USE ON CARPETING!!! If you lean over in these stools the stool will go with you. The base is too small and not heavy enough so the stools are top heavy.I am not tearing them down to return them, I won't even donate them as they are dangerous. It's a shame because they look very nice 10-10-18 REVIEW UPDATE: If I could give less than 1 star I would. The company contacted me, due to the initial review and offered me a small sum of money asking if that amount would make me change my review to a 5 star. I advised it would not. After going back and forth with this company over a period of about 3 weeks they finally offered to reimburse me for the full amount. I thanked them for the offer. I never promised a better review. The very next email this company sent me advised that a portion of the reimbursement had been credited to my account and they are holding on to the balance until I change my review!!! This is what I call extortion. Withholding funds for a good review. I told them to keep their money and this is the update I am posting. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
