I purchased this case when I purchased a new Kindle Paperwhite (which I am mostly happy with), and thought "gee, I should get a case since I will be throwing it in my bag often. For a while it worked just fine, but then, shortly after the return period expired, the tab that contains a small magnet to hold the lid closed cracked. Then it broke off entirely, and just last night the other side of the tab started cracking and out popped the magnet. It's very cheap, thin plastic on this tab and as such it can fall apart quite easily. Keep in mind I only purchased this in September. For such an expensive case you'd think it would have been built out of slightly better materials.
