Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

When we bought our new house, the previous owners graciously left their old Dolphin, which worked amazingly. About a week in, our puppy chewed the wiring, so we decided to get a new Dolphin-my husband wanted this one, so despite the negative reviews I agreed. This Dolphin is terrible. It misses all but the largest debris, and even sometimes still misses that. The picture above is a corner of our pool that the Dolphin consistently misses, even after back to back to back to back (yes, literally 4) cleaning cycles! The functionality improved questionably when we replaced the origin filter with the ultra fine filter basket, but not dramatically (I don’t notice a difference at all, my husband insists that there is one). Additionally, Dolphin (or whoever) didn’t let my first negative review get posted-despite my review meeting all required standards-so who knows how many more negative reviews this product would have. Overall, I’m very frustrated, still have to manually vacuum our pool even while the Dolphin is running, and will be looking to upgrade to a different automatic pool cleaner.
