I just purchased this item again to replace one of the three that is beyond repair. The flagpole works well when you first put it up and they do prevent tangling, however they are not built to last. I live in Pennsylvania and my flags are only up from about April - October. After the first season, both my flagpoles broke in the middle. I tried Gorilla glue to put the two half's back together and that worked for a few more months. I contacted customer service via their web site and also some E-mail addresses I found on-line. I never heard back anything. I haven't found any alternatives or I would be replacing these with a different product. Somewhat of a disposable product so don't expect them to last.
