I spent tons of time researching the best dehumidifier available. This one appeared to fit the bill. The price suggested it was built to a slightly higher quality standard than others. After owning it just less than 14 months, the unit now continually shows the error code "F0" on the control panel. Unplugging the unit (buttons do not function while the unit has the error) and plugging the unit back in allows it to run, usually for less than an hour before it faults again. The manual suggests to check outlet voltage - it is extremely stable at just over 120 V. The control board appears to be junk. Does not appear to be designed to be a long-lasting product. Appears to be built to fail just outside warranty (can you say planned obsolescence?) so you have to buy another one. Frigidaire will not be getting any more of my money.
