I was really shocked when this arrived. It is made entirely of plastic! Inside and out, door, back, shelves, even the hasp for the lock. It is NOT going to keep anyone that wants in out. How can anything called a "vault" be made of thin plastic. It may keep your friends out because they don't want to break your stuff, but anyone with any kind of intent is getting in - period. It is also horribly overpriced here. After I ordered, I found it for $59.99 at the dormvault.com website where they also fail to mention it is made entirely of plastic. It is also much smaller than I thought, but that is my fault for looking more closely at what was shown inside.
